WEEKLY UPDATES

  • Well Read Mom will meet on Friday, March 28th from 1:30 - 3:00 pm. They will be discussing Cry Beloved Country by Alan Paton.

  • We’re excited to announce the Yearbook Cover Contest, and we want ALL students to join the fun! Whether you’re an artist or just love to get creative, this is your chance to design a front and back cover that represents our amazing school community. Everyone's contributions are welcome, and you don’t need to be a pro to participate. Your design will be featured in this year’s yearbook, making it a memorable keepsake for you and your classmates. So grab some paper and get to work! We can’t wait to see what you create!

    Guidelines:

    • Must adequately reflect the OLV spirit and capture the theme of this year’s yearbook (Jubilee)

    • Must stay within the branding guidelines for Chesterton Academy

    • Must be submitted to Miss Stefanick via pdf or physical copy

    • Must be able to fit within 8.5”x11”

    • Must be turned in by Friday, March 28th!

    Prize:

    • Although there can only be one picture on the cover of the yearbook, we do want to honor everyone who participated. Every submission will be placed in the honorable mention pages in the back of the book.

    • Ticket prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd places (6, 4, 2 Tickets given)

  • Please see the attached letter from Kevin McAdam, the Chairman of the Board.

  • OPEN HOUSE:

If you know of families who may be interested in OLV, please encourage them to attend our upcoming Open House on Wednesday, April 9th from 8:15 - 10:15 am. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet our new Headmaster, Randy Aust, explore our beautiful campus, and connect with our dedicated faculty and staff.

RSVP for Middle School Formation Friday

  • When parents notify of an early release, the time requested is written on the release slip, and is the time the student will be allowed to be excused from class per the parent request. If parents believe their student will need extra time to go to their lockers, change clothes, etc., parents need to include that extra time in their release time request. Thank you for your cooperation!

  • The organizers of the Colorado March for Life have selected the students from Chesterton Academy of Our Lady of Victory to carry the March for Life banner at the head of the March this year!

  • The Classical Learning Test is a college entrance exam accepted at hundreds of colleges across the United States as an alternative to the SAT® and ACT®.  At OLV,  we also use it as an assessment test to measure how our students are performing academically.  Each year, the CLT recognizes top performers across the U.S. Distinguished Scholars are those who earn the top score at their school; Regional Scholars are those who score in the top 5% in their respective region; and National Award Recipients are the top 50 high school sophomores across the U.S. National Award Recipients are also awarded a $2,500 scholarship to use at any CLT Partner College to help cover the cost of tuition and room and board.  Students are automatically considered for these awards simply by taking the exam.

OUR CLT10 TESTING SCHEDULE HAS CHANGED! Our freshmen and sophomores will take the CLT10 on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, and the juniors test date will remain on April 10. Any student wishing to brush up on any skills to better prepare can see Dr. Wilderman or go to cltexam.com for practice exams.

  • Click the link to buy your yearbook for the 24-25 academic year! All custom pages need to be completed by April 21st.

  • Registration for Fall sports will open in April. We plan to have girl’s volleyball and coed cross country again. The reason for the early registration is to catch as many people as possible before summer break and to prepare as needed within the summer. Practices will start about a week before the school year officially begins. Early registration will help ensure athletes are ready and communication is sent out in time. Matches and meets often occur within a week of the school year starting.

Details for practices and games can be found on the athletics page. Contact Coach Jayce with any questions.
