For the Feast of the Annunciation, we will be elevating the liturgy which is on Tuesday, March 25th! One of the ways we will be doing this is by using Latin for the entrance antiphon, the offertory antiphon, and the communion antiphon. English translations will be provided as a handout as you walk into Mass. In addition, the Sanctus and Agnus Dei will be sung with different Gregorian chants. This will be the Missa de Angelis, also known as Mass VIII. Handouts for these chants will also be available at the door. If you would like to listen to these beautiful chants ahead of time, please follow the links below.

The Classical Learning Test is a college entrance exam accepted at hundreds of colleges across the United States as an alternative to the SAT® and ACT®. At OLV, we also use it as an assessment test to measure how our students are performing academically. Each year, the CLT recognizes top performers across the U.S. Distinguished Scholars are those who earn the top score at their school; Regional Scholars are those who score in the top 5% in their respective region; and National Award Recipients are the top 50 high school sophomores across the U.S. National Award Recipients are also awarded a $2,500 scholarship to use at any CLT Partner College to help cover the cost of tuition and room and board. Students are automatically considered for these awards simply by taking the exam.
OUR CLT10 TESTING SCHEDULE HAS CHANGED! Our freshmen and sophomores will take the CLT10 on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, and the juniors test date will remain on April 10. Any student wishing to brush up on any skills to better prepare can see Dr. Wilderman or go to cltexam.com for practice exams.

Registration for Fall sports will open in April. We plan to have girl’s volleyball and coed cross country again. The reason for the early registration is to catch as many people as possible before summer break and to prepare as needed within the summer. Practices will start about a week before the school year officially begins. Early registration will help ensure athletes are ready and communication is sent out in time. Matches and meets often occur within a week of the school year starting.
Practice times and locations are TBD but be on the look out for registration to open. Contact Coach Jayce with any questions.
