Our Women’s basketball team caped off a great season by winning two Championships! Our Lady Knights secured the #1 seed for our league tournament and secured the first OLV FRCAA championship for the school, in just their second year as a program.
The girls also participated in the AST Invitational for the second year in a row and were able to secure back to back Championships after an overtime win against Monument Academy.
Congratulations to our Lady Knights for their championships and the great virtue they displayed throughout the whole season!

The end of the 3rd quarter is quickly approaching. Spring Parent-Teacher conferences are optional and scheduled on Friday, March 14th, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. There will be no school on this day.
Each conference is 10 minutes long. During this time parents will be able to touch base with teachers on student performance and behavior. When you arrive a listing of teacher locations will be made available on a table in the Atrium.
Please be aware that faculty have many meetings scheduled, so they will need to start and end on time. If your schedule does not allow you to meet with a particular teacher at these times, please contact that teacher directly to arrange a meeting on another day.
You will receive a link to your teachers' sign up genius from Jupiter Ed next week. You will receive a link to your child’s progress report from Jupiter Ed on March 13th. A hard copy report can be printed at parent/student request.
You may contact Mr. Crane if you have any questions about conferences.

Art Sale - Consent For Fundraising:
One of our distinctives as a Chesterton Academy is our fine arts. Our art, drama, and dance programs make us unique and excellent. Many Chesterton Academies tout their fine arts focus during their annual gala. While OLV does not hold a formal gala each year, it seemed fitting this year to allow the opportunity for families to procure their student’s framed art — to beautify their own homes or perhaps gifts for grandparents and others — to raise funds for OLV’s future. That said, we understand that art can be very personal. If you do not want your student’s artwork to be digitized and framed for fundraising purposes, please let Mrs. Bowman know no later than Friday, March 14th.

The Classical Learning Test is a college entrance exam accepted at hundreds of colleges across the United States as an alternative to the SAT® and ACT®. At OLV, we also use it as an assessment test to measure how our students are performing academically. Each year, the CLT recognizes top performers across the U.S. Distinguished Scholars are those who earn the top score at their school; Regional Scholars are those who score in the top 5% in their respective region; and National Award Recipients are the top 50 high school sophomores across the U.S. National Award Recipients are also awarded a $2,500 scholarship to use at any CLT Partner College to help cover the cost of tuition and room and board. Students are automatically considered for these awards simply by taking the exam.
OLV freshmen and sophomores will take the CLT 10 on April 15, and the juniors on April 10. The tests are given in paper format. Any student wishing to brush up on any skills to better prepare can see Dr. Wilderman or go to cltexam.com for practice exams.
